Citizens of countries such as: America, Canada, United Kingdom, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Colombia, Pakistan, India and Somalia can only use general tourist visa.
Pilgrimage visa
Iran is an Islamic country and has many places of pilgrimage, that’s why many Muslims from all over the world travel to Iran to visit the destination places. These people must get a pilgrimage visa or a type C visa to travel to Iran. But if the applicant is not traveling to Iran and visiting Muslim pilgrimage cities, he must obtain a tourist visa.
Political visa and service visa
Political visa or type D is issued to applicants who travel to Iran for political and diplomatic purposes. Applicants for political visas are political representatives, consulates and offices of international organizations residing in Iran, foreign diplomats residing in Iran, holders of political and service passports, ministers, government members and kings of other countries. work permit visa
Work permit visas are issued to applicants who intend to work in Iran. It should be noted that it is necessary to submit an invitation from the Iranian employer or a reputable company approved by the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare.
Transit visa
Applicants who pass through Iran to travel to other countries must obtain an Iran transit visa. Issuing a transit visa is faster and easier than other visas and is considered a short-term visa. If drivers are applying for a transit visa, they must have an international certificate and public valid documents to receive this visa.
Transit visas are limited and are not issued to Israeli nationals.
Press visa
Press visas are issued to media organizations and institutions that travel to Iran for the purpose of preparing reports, making films and documentaries. This type of visa does not have any restrictions for preparing reports, and journalists and photographers can safely prepare the desired report. But it should be noted that in order to go to some special places, people must obtain permission to prepare a report from the relevant organization. Family visa
Women who marry men from other countries can obtain Iranian family visas for their spouses and children. The condition for issuing a family visa in Iran is to register the marriage in the legal and official offices of the country.
